Lim Oon Kuin（林恩强）将于 10 月 30 日起出庭，针对香港上海汇丰银行和兴隆合约高管的刑事指控为自己辩护。

根据新加坡CNA 的报告，新加坡高等法院于周五（10 月 13 日）已听取兴隆贸易（私人）有限公司【 Hin Leong Trading (Pte) Ltd  】创始人 Lim Oon Kuin（林恩强）的证词；他被指控涉嫌犯下涉及达1.117 亿美元（1.487 亿新元）款项的伪造文书罪，并将为自己辩护作证。

在法官表示有证据支持每一项指控并要求林先生提供证据后，林先生将于 10 月 30 日起出庭作证，预计为期两到三天。

在审判进行期间，针对林先生的 100 多项其他指控已被搁置。

同时，在该名林姓 81 岁老人（Lim Oon Kuin）接受审判期间，检方对其共 130 项指控中的三项指控进行了审理：两项欺骗香港上海汇丰银行 (HSBC) 的罪名和一项教唆兴隆贸易公司 (Hin Leong Trading) 一名合同主管伪造虚假记录的罪名。

上述 130 项指控涉及欺诈罪、教唆伪造有价证券罪和教唆伪造罪。

而受审理的三项指控则与汇丰银行此前指控林先生伪造文件以获得银行信贷有关。今年10 月，汇丰银行对林氏家族和一名兴隆员工提起法律诉讼，追讨其对兴隆发放的 1.117 亿美元款项中的 8530 万美元。

汇丰银行在其提交的文件中称，该公司分别签署了以5600万美元的价格出售货物给中国航油公司(CAO)和以5570万美元的价格出售货物给联合石化新加坡（Unipec Singapore）的伪造发票，从而“欺诈性地”骗取了1.117亿美元的贷款。

据报道，在一个相关案件中，林先生和他的两个孩子（也是兴隆的董事）被兴隆贸易的司法经理起诉，罪名为违反董事信托义务和欺诈。

此外，在一份法庭文件中，除了据称三人在公司资不抵债的情况下支付给自己的另外 9,000 万美元股息之外，司法管理人员也希望另追讨 35 亿美元（47.5 亿新元）款项。

司法管理人员于2021年5月获得了一项玛瑞瓦禁令，冻结林氏家族在全球价值不超过35亿美元的资产以追讨债务。

此外，林先生和他的两个孩子也在另一项民事诉讼中面对兴隆和汇丰控股的清盘人。

清盘人 Goh Thien Phong 先生和 Chan Kheng Tek 先生正在起诉 Lim、他的儿子 Evan Lim Chee Ming 和女儿 Lim Huey Ching，要求追讨 35 亿美元（47 亿新元）的所谓债务和 9,000 万美元林氏家族支付给自己的股息。
